Kerala Pareekshabhavan, Thiruvananthapuram, Conduct Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (KTET 2014) on September 28th, 2014. KTET for Minimum qualification for a person to be eligible for appointment as a teacher. Qualifying in the Teacher Eligibility Test is mandatory to ensure that persons recruited as reachers posses the essential aptitude and ability to meet the challanges of teaching at all levels. A person to be eligible for appointment as a teacher in any of the schools approved by the Department of General Education, Government of Kerala has to qualify the Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test. KTET 2014 Conducted by Kerala Pareekshabhavan.
Important Dates:
Online application Submit last date : August 24th, 2014
Admit Card Download from : Sept 9th to 27th, 2014
Entrance Exam from : Sept 28th to Oct 5th, 2014
Medium of Question Paper:
Questions for Category I, II and IV (except for languages) will be bilingual i.e. both in Malayalam and English. Question for Category III will only be in English (except for languages).
Syllabus:
Category 1 Paper 1 for Classes 1 to 5,
Category 2 Paper 2 for Classes 6 to 8,
Category 3 Paper 3 for Classes 8 to 10,
Category 4 for Language Teachers in Arabic, Urdu, Sanskrit, Hindi, Upto Upper Primary Level.
Specialist Teachers and Physical Education Teachers.

Qualifying Marks:
A Person who scores 60% or more in the KTET 2014 Examination will be considered KTET Passed or K-TET 2014.
