Nizam's Institute of Medical Sciences (NIMS) has published the exam dates for the Nizam’s Institute of Medical Sciences Entrance Test (NIMSET-MPT-2014), which will be on September 08, 2014.
About The Exam
Nizam's Institute of Medical Sciences (NIMS) conducts NIMSET-MPT entrance test for taking admission to two years Master of Physiotherapy (MPT) program offered in Musculoskeletal Sciences, Cardiovascular & Pulmonary Sciences and Neurosciences for the academic year 2014.
Paper Pattern:
1- There shall be a common entrance test consisting of multiple choice (objective) questions (MCQs) as described below:
A- Specialty MCQs in musculoskeletal, cardiovascular and pulmonary and neurosciences (approximately 50%) related to basic and clinical sciences, biomechanics, physiotherapy techniques, critical care and rehabilitation.
B- General MCQs (approximately 50%) in general clinical sciences (general medicine, general surgery, paediatric, obstetrics and gynaecology, electrotherapy, exercise therapy, first‐aid, resuscitations, social & preventive medicine, radiology, sociology and psychology).
2- The selection shall be by an entrance test consisting 60 multiple‐choice questions covering the Bachelor of Physiotherapy course to be answered in 60 minutes.
3- The syllabus for entrance test shall be that of BPT standard of the universities of Andhra Pradesh state.
Important Dates:
Date of entrance examination: September 08, 2014.
Date of result declarations: September 10, 2014.
