Educational Qualification : The candidates should possess the qualification of Matriculation (10th Class) from a recognized University and
i) Two years work experience in respective trades OR
ii) One year certificate course from ITI / Vocational Institute with at least one year experience in the trade OR
iii)Two years Diploma from Industrial Training Institute in the trade or similar trade .
Age Limit : The candidates age should be between 18 to 23 years as on 1st August , 2014 .Age Relaxation will be applicable as per rules given in the official notification .
Physical Standards :
Height : 162.5 Cms , Chest : 76-81 Cms for ST/Adivasi of all states and UT's including Nagas and Mizos .
Height : 165 Cms , Chest : 78-83 Cms for men belonging to Hill Areas of selected states.
Height : 167.5 Cms , Chest : 78-83 Cms for all others States and UT's
Selection Process : The selection of candidates will be based on their performance in Physical Efficiency Test(PET) , Physical Standard Test(PST) , Trade Test and Written Test .
Application Fee : Postal Order or Demand Draft for Rs.50/- in favour of Concerned IG/DIG/Commandant Payable at bank of Concerned Headquarter , under which their state fall .
Note : SC/ST and Ex-Servicemen are exempted from fee .
How To Apply : The Interested and eligible candidates are required to download the prescribed application form from the official website www.bsf.nic.in / attached in the Official advertisement . Send the duly filled in application form along with required documents to the respective state recruiting agencies / Application receiving centres before last date .
